Just in time for traditional Fall festivities on October 31st, Ecologue has a post with some great ideas for going green for Halloween, including tips on how to get the most out of pumpkin carving, and how to fashion a one-of-a-kind eco-goodie bag for trick or treating.

On Nov. 4th Vote the Environment with Patagonia, and while you're doing that check out their helpful resources and links to discovering how green your candidate is and what you can do to help, including recommended reading. Patagonia is also featuring a Vote the Environment t-shirt, with $5 going to the League of Conservation Voters, a national, nonpartisan, nonprofit group who "works to elect pro-environmental champions at all levels of government."
